Doubtful because, a) Reed never ran the Avengers (The Captain did) and b) Al isn't the Reed prototype - that would be Wreed Wrichards (spelling?).

Al B. as leader would certainly be zany insane though. Probably not CSFB! level of zany insane, but zany insane none the less.
