Something from her perspective was certainly overdue.

Now that we know, though, she's not Hatman's mysterious suitor anymore.

I guess now I know why Hatman will be retiring. I don't think he's going to want to continue as Lair Legion leader with that on his conscience.

Jay's fought a war and he's killed when he's had no choice. He doesn't like it and it's not part of his usual rules of engagement.

I didn't mean only the killing part - I meant specifically taking on that kind of personality and killing so easily, and enjoying it.

On a similar topic, I did write a story once where Hatman put on the Psychic Samurai's headband and was a little disturbed at how much power it gave him - through speed and psychic senses - even without super-powers.

Note however that sometimes Jay's character is altered when he wears powerful hats. He speaks in Ausgardian when he wears a Donar helmet. When he's got Mr Flay's bowler on...

I guess he should keep Chiaki's headband handy in case he ever travels to Japan.

And still on those two, there's a remaining question as to whether they'll eventually stay together: Will Hat accept that now that he knows Zdenka is the Hooded Hood's daughter? Since he's usually so worried about what kind of impression that might leave - and in this case, what kind of Hooded Hood plans that puts him in store for - I would think as much as it hurts him, he might say no.

    Quote:
I suspect their relationship was already over long before this.

It depends how much they are each willing to set aside about each other to make it work, I suppose. Which also depends on how much they want to make it work.

Now it seems Lara and Hatman have something in common, since they both have to live with killing at least one of the Carnifex' lieutenants. The weird part is going to be that Lara has previously referred to previous experience with doing something like that, so she might be the one with the advice.

    Quote:
Maybe they'll go to the same therapy group.

Lately, Lara *is* the therapy group.

Noted. At least one of these is correct.

Darn, that might make my score -3.
