Reply Subj: No. But I understand some of his objections. Others are plain stupid.

While the expansion idea is questionable te need for a Lair Legion isn't. When the planet is attacked it needs defenders specially prepared for this, ones that aren't attached to any one government. Superheroes operate under a different set of rules to the government or the military and they can do what the others can't.

A very cogent argument. just like Lisa would have done it but without the exotic leatherwear.

    Quote:
That's the main problem with CSFB!'s plan though. It makes the LL a military organisation and forces them to operate under military rules.

I don't think Dream sees it that way, He just sees it as the world's biggest collection of friends.

    Quote:
During the war the heroes fought as an extension of the army. That's very different from being an independant team. People otside the team tend to object - no-one voted for the LL.

True.

    Quote:
Also, from a practical point of view running a small team would be very different from how the orginisation of the 'expanded LL' would have to be. When you know every member of the team personally and as a close friend you can trust them to make judgemnet calls, with a large group you need to set down rules and precedent and rigid guidlines doesn't work in superhero situations.

Dream is happier with the "honour" system.

    Quote:
Out of intrest how does CSFB! becoming leader work? Presumably this is different from his tenure as acting leader as Hatman isn't missing, he resigned. I'd like to think that when that happens there's some process for choosing a new leader, not just automatically defaulting to the second in comand.

Technically the deputy leader would schedule a formal nomination and voting process. CSFB! isn't really up on the rules.
