Some sort of unhappy government person was always going to appear. I'm not sure if it's wrong either, there's a major difference between superhero ethics and military ethics and if the LL do expand they'll be operating under military ethics which don't fit well with vigilante justice. Now all it takes is for the LL to provoke an already tense siuation by helping a wanted murderess like Silicone Sally and it's looking like the end of a team.

It was very clear to me that Dream's preferred approach to LL leadership would be different from his tenure as acting leader during the crisis of the Parody War; and that such an apporach was going to create legal, political, and social difficulties for the team.

The strange thing is that Dream's "one big team" concept isn't a million miles away from how the various heroes were co-ordinated during the Parody War. However, what seemed like a good idea in desperate days under alien attack may not be so popular or clever an idea at a leter time.
