Reply Subj: I should think the next attack would have to come from Leaky Fawcett, the sentient kitchen sink...

Not that I'm complaining, mind you... This chapter is off to great start. Loved the humorous bits, including the Presidential Pizza order. (How we got that dedicated line before the pizza one I'll never know.). I'd say CSFB should be responsible for dealing with Icy's list, but I like the big snowball innocent. He'll have to save it for when Yo comes back...

This whole episode strikes me as a bit like an early M*A*S*H, full of wisecracking in the face of authority followed by a bloody gory surgery session.

Unfortuately there's a possibility that it might split into two chapters if it keeps on sprawling.

Of course, The subject line is prompted by the returning threat that GE and Alcheman were investigating. It's a bit of a step down from her old digs, isn't it? I doubt being humbled is likely to improve her disposition any.

We haven't yet heard what Camellia is up to or why she'd be interested in such a place.

Oddly enough, I suspected who was running the joint when I heard the names of the other two waitresses, though I'm not sure how Chlamydia got her name. Well, I suppose I could make an educated guess...

It's such a pretty name for a girl.

In any event, fun use of the Profanity identity from down the talkbacks. One note... I originally read the bar's name as 1666. If it's Interstate 666 then it should usually be written I-666 here in the US to get the highway to hell reference.

I'll try and remembeer to update that when I add in tomorrow's section. I'm having such a struggle to actually download and open PVB pages these days that I don't want to spend 15 minutes trying to edit the story without a really major reason.

As for the arrival of the general, Amber sums that up well. I don't suppose Mumphrey is in the mansion and eager to jump into this mess? Say what you want about Dream's leadership style, but the man does know how to launch a "bold new direction" for a title...

Who knew how much Kirk and Bendis had in common?

And your guess for which 7 heroes the government would put into the team? As in "Seven of you get to stay - the rest of you are out" said Herbert Garrick.

Looking forward to the next bit!

The next bit's ready to go just as soon as the PVB-ers are. Let's do this thing!

On other news I finished off the second draft of Robin Hood: Arrow of Justice this weekend. It's now on its beta proofread from Rhiannon and my mother. Sometime I'll need to write the afterword.
