    Quote:
Anna is going to be very sad if she knew Hallie had to give up Lair Legion membership because of her. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt someone. She didn't want to die for it, either, but hard choices are not something she handles well.

But Anna's not going to know. It's a secret.

    Quote:
Somehow even though Amnesia *seems* to be fighting the Hooded Hood, I have a feeling she's fitting right into his plan. The Hood wouldn't have made Icy wait otherwise.

Indeed.

    Quote:
If it were Chiaki looking after the Foundation she would probably make a deal with the Zoot Suit Gang to let them keep a grip over the neighborhood just so nobody gets shot, stabbed, or robbed at the establishment. But that's not Hatman's style - the problem is, Hatman's style is to resist *all* of the gangs at once, with no help from the police.

He's John Wayne doing the right thing.

    Quote:
I suppose he could form a private volunteer security force to solve the problem that he can't be there 24/7 and sooner or later someone's going to come along and firebomb the whole place. Might be expensive keeping them well supplied, and also dangerous for them as well. Unless he gives someone like Anna that job, she needs no equipment and it'll take a lot more than a few neighborhood gangs and assassins to keep her busy. But once again, he thinks of her as a kid, so that's not his style, either.

I'm not sure that any one person could provide security 24/7 on a whole neighbourhood. Better to work on subtler checks and balances to protect things.
