Changing the rules to non-superhero normal... that's worrying. I get the feeling I'm overlooking something about who'd think that's a good idea.

There does seem to definately be an atual person and plan behind this because each effect in each part has had a slightly different spin (The piece of paper revoking undead versus the closure of dimensional stuff for superpowers)and - for the short term - that seems to be allowing for some divide-and-conquer. Each group is isolating themselves to handle their own emergency and taking a while to realise it's a 'global' effect.

The confirmation of death for the Baroness' castle in no way proves she was still there at the time.
