An intriguing little mystery this update! Always fun to see Urthula again. Sure, that last night with her did kill me, but I've had worse dates. Lots of fun undead details in this, and an interesting focus character to use in exploring them. I thought Yuki worked well here, not quite immune to the effects of the elder vampire but better equipped to deal with them. It made for a good mix.

I thought having a non-occult character in that setting provided important context.

That's a curious new twist on the bigger mystery as well. Not sure how it ties in with the last few chapters. Unless, of course, the big bad is the Doom Gerbil...

All may become clear by the end of the issue. Well, some may becoem clear.

Trouble certainly seems to be brewing as the world goes on planetary lockdown. (I wonder how that tastes to the Shoggoth...)

We will certainly find out forthwith.

So I see... with an intriguing sounding supporting cast! Now I'm wondering if the whole dimensional lockdown is adversely affecting the lighthouse as well. It doesn't like to be tied down.

The answer is yes. It will have to make its mind up where it wants to be for a bit. Or just pick a spot half way between its wo usual destinations.

I think Knifey is especially fond of Joe. He'll be devastated when their brief time together is over.

Being immortal cutlery is its own special curse. But Joe will probably be like Elvis, and sightings of him will persist for long after he's rumored to be gone.

Folks round here called him... the Rhinestone Cowboy!
