That's quite an interesting question, actually.

Of course it is!

The Parodyverse's continuity is actually much tighter! Gothametropolis York is the next major city down the Eastern seaboard from New York. It is the state capitol of Gothametropolis (so PV-US must have 51 states, or be missing another). Newer Parodopolis (formerly New Parody City, established c1850) was too late to become a state but has taken over the financial, economic, and political lead that GMY had a century before; but technically Paradopolis probably in the state of Gothametropolis. That's unless the Parodopolis Sound that seperates the old and new metropoli is also a state boundary.

You know, I've never noticed that Gothametropolis is a state before - even though it's clearly referenced as such in the Where's Where.

Alright, I'd suggest based on this that Gothametropolis (and its twin cities) are located somewhere along the New Jersey coast line north of Atlantic City. Using Google maps there's a nice empty-ish looking area called Great Bay and a nearby town called Tuckerton, and even a place called Mystic Island!

If you zoom in on google maps there is also some weird grid like patterns in the area which COULD be aspects of Parodiopolis/GMY making themselves apparent in this universe. True story.

There is a nearby woodland reserve, Bass River State Forest and Wharton State Forest which could easily be the area for the upstate Gothemetropolis and the Wastelands.

So a tiny state around that area - perhaps not even stretching all the way to the Pennsylvania boarder (ie: surrounded on three sides by New Jersey and the other by the Atlantic ocean) could be our local?

So at least GMY has a state flower, which may well be the deadly nightshade, and may also insist on a state fruit.

The wrinkly prune.

    Quote:
The state animal of Paradopolis may well be the now rare Foundation-Chewing Beaver

Not the deadly Snapping Beaver?

    Good choices. Thanks for playing.

'Twas fun. And thanks for the DC History - I just had nothing to add.
