I'm finding the challenge of writing it to a daily deadline quite... challenging.

Good habit for you to get back into!

I'm already past Part 4 and steaming towards a conclusion, I hope. However, let's assume that the band was playing by the outside dance area described in Chapter 2; that means that Kara and her band members were not swept away in a dimensional anomaly that (1) she might well be able to detect and reverse and (2) would certainly motivate EEE into this becoming an EEE adventure (c.f. Kidnapping Franklin Richards).

Heh, feel free to ignore it or yeah, just go with that.

However, I will give some thought as to how to incorporate something that embeds this in UT continuity, because why not?

That's the spirit! Embedding stuff into UT continuity is always worth considering.

Interestingly (to me), Part 2 of the next Untold Tales story also includes Kara and Cody and her academic options (I wrote the first couple of chapters before I realised I needed to get the Juniors plot done with first).

I figured she was enrolling in a double-math major not just because she is bored but she wants to fast track to a PhD for some reason. She has enrolled in every subject required for the major this semester (most of them she won't need to turn up to class and will just blitz the final exam because she knows it all anyway), but then I thought she might decide to 'flunk' one because she enjoys being at college.

There may soon be some vacancies in the Young Heckfire roster if she's interested, but I'd say she's not the joining type for that kind of organised group.

Possibly, she just joined Alpha3 for the decent on-campus parking perks. She has her own motivations for things (at least, that's how I've always read her in most of the stuff you've written!)

Speaking of the Juniors, back when we last corresponded about them - I started a story about a potential next generation member. I just found it on the hard drive and re-read it - I didn't get far writing it but maybe I'll polish it off.
