He's a villain introduced by Donar in his Quest of Annj series (pretty much Gavan's last work for the PVB to date). He took a major role for a while chasing Annj's mortal avatar Marion Nighttshade during the Parody War, then leading an army of Avawarriors across Nats' bit of hell, and was last seen backing up Doomwraiths in Faerie at the Battle of the White Gate in Untold Tales #295.

I can see I'll need to go back to doing footnotes.
