Subj: It's not the size of your roster anyhow...

Reply Subj: See? My roster expansion was tastefully understated by comparison.

Fun stuff! We get follow-up on Candia and the EEE, and a glimpse of where the LL is heading all in one enjoyable start.

The problem with big status-quo altering maga-events is the mopping up afterwards.

Nice to see Party Animal getting tapped to be the new goddess of the North. It was a touching scene of remembrance, even if it did have Jonstantine in it. Here's hoping Candia thrives under her spirit... provided it doesn't try to invade or anything.

I wonder what changes will come to Candia with serious, noble, sometimes-gloomy Zenka replaced by Party Animal?

As for Al and Co., way to requisition some major government property. It's a fun little team he's put together for the rescue mission... I look forward to seeing how easily they fare.

It was pure indulgence to put that scene into an already-overcrowded chapter. I could just as easily have had a single line in the CSFB! section: "Hallie reports that Al's got the helicarrier sorted to jump the EEE firehouse back." But I'm glad I put it in anyhow. It was fun to write.

I applaud CSFB's plans to make Garrick have a fit. I do worry about poor Amber, however. The poor woman never even got to go on that LL staff vacation to unwind, and now Dream seems ready to bury her in paperwork for life. I doubt it would be relaxing, tedious paperwork either. But then I take heart, as the story makes it clear... really what could go wrong?

My intention for this issue was to focus on three stories and set up a few more. Dream's team is the "A-story" so I needed to get it going near the front.
