I still have hopes of doing this for today if I don't get distracted.

I'm glad to see you got it done!

Visionary and the Heart of Darkness: Epilogue #3 “Chemical Heart” Part 2 and in the reply thread to The Baroness, Part 48A. There was also a Magica (Princess Projectrasil) in the Shee-Yar hero team the Impetuous Guard that appeared in several of Scott's stories then later in Untold tales.

I'm impressed! Technically she also appeared in the Epilogue part 1 as "Xander". But was so terribly bad that everyone saw through the disguise.

It was fun to write that story, I recall.

She's make a fine replacement for Al.

Hey!

      Or...Hacker 9?

    Quote:
Only broods before doing something monumentally stupid like taking over the world. Anyway, H9 is a Herald of Galactivac now.

So was Dancer once.

I'm not sure if he's attached to Liu Xi of not. Jason seemed to imply recently that things may have gone horizontal.

Going horizontal with one of Jason's characters is an initiation every single male character goes through sooner or later. And even some of the not single ones.

      STL or Hamboy

Either of these would work. Should Ham-Boy become Ham-Guy if he joins the LL?

Salami Man? Pancetta Person? Bacon Bloke?

So far I think he's walked down a street. That's about par for Al B's introduction as I recall.

Don't say that or I'll use it to do nothing! (figuring "Well if it was good enough for Al B. to get this far").

Procrastination is (one of) my enemies here.

      Anvil Man

    Quote:
He's stuck in impenetrable armour that doesn't even have a toilet flap.

Makes it difficult for romance plots to develop beyond humour sure.

Still I'd like to see him join of all the possibilities of foes joining, but I get the feeling you're not so keen?

        Hacker 9.

    Quote:
    He's hardly a babe magnet.

I'm sure there's a certain type who goes for him. Bookish. Thick glasses. Buck-teeth and bracers. The typtical stereotype.

*cuts line-up but just click back to previous post if needed to remember who this next bit is about*

    Quote:
I'd have a lot of fun with that line-up.

And I'm sure it would be a lot of fun to read! It is an interesting combination of characters. You never know, if you're stuck for inspiration with the 'real' team why not write about them - kind of in an Elseworlds way - and test them out on the 'readership'?

I'd like to keep both poster and character Hatty around, but he's had a fair run as LL leader now so I'm wondering if there are ways of moving him sideways.

Being stuck in that space-time-warp thing isn't permanent?

    Quote:
You didn't spot him reappearing at the end of the last Untold Tales?

No, but I spotted him at the end of the one you just posted.

Perhaps, if someone dies in this current story, he could be so affected by the death he steps aside as leader. Then he's still around but not the leader. I can see that happening. Didn't one of the Avengers Chairs even do that once?

    Quote:
It would; but I don't know so I couldn't write it. CSFB! is a uniquely Kirk creation and some reactions of that kind could only ring true if Kirk wrote them. For example, Kirk wrote a great piece with Dream counselling H9 once, but only Kirk could have written it.

True. True. I'd still enjoy reading a story of the LL with CSFB! as leader though. Even if only for a little while.

But if Hatty does step aside and not Kirk then who? Hmm....

    Quote:
My problem then comes writing major-threat stories where there's no logical reason that 37 Legionnaires don't storm in to save the day.

Logic? In the Parodyverse?

    Quote:
So if you could pick just ONE character to be on the team, and it couldn't be your current one, who would it be?

It depends who else is on the team already?

    Quote:
    I'm still tempted.

Well, I won't tell if you do!

    Quote:
Actually Mike looked in the other day and commented on being on the banner. He was a bit horrified to work out how much catch-up reading he needed to do.

Catch-up can be scary. Sometimes it's better to just jump back in cold, and hope it all makes sense. Often it does. I speak from experience. *looks shifty eyed*

Last post he said he was around just lacking motivation. Maybe her joining is all he needs?

    Quote:
Indeed. The Silicone Sally problem is that she's a fun slightly-slutty party girl which puts her somewhere between Lisa and Dancer characterwise - and we've already got Lisa and Dancer.

I can see enough differentiation in personality. And her powers are certainly different.
