It seems that both teams this issue found the headquarters as the center of their respective searches. I'm a bit worried that the newbie team found the one that opened right up tp let them inside though. I'm far more comfortable with Donar creating new doors in mysterious structures (that I'm not paying a mortgage on.)

It's almost as if there was only one more section to post before the end of the chapter.

Interesting that Blackbird can charge so well from prison. Is that through Paypal? I should get one of those accounts.

It's nice to see offenders trying to make something of their lives, to hone skills in prison that will set them up for a new life when they leave custodial care.

Of course, Blackbird has a life sentence, so he's not supposed to leave the Safe ever.

So is the Veteran team done cleaning house? Always nice to take care of some unfinished business when you're just starting out a new leader. I did like the idea that the new balance in the leadership ranks was making the Legions moves harder to predict. It is an odd mix, but then when hasn't it been?

We've got one more scene in that chain of stories, but this one features the villain commentary on events.

As for leadership styles, I try to work out how the group works under different leaderships. Assuming Jarvis was the "defualt" generic leader, I wrote Lisa's team as being something of a therapy group, Vizh's original team as being more of a family, Finny's team as being a superhero agency, Mumph's team variously as a gentleman's club and a military unit, and Hatman's team as a sports team. The new leadership makes this rather a recombinant combination and it'll be interesting to see how that leadership style develops.

    Looking forward to more!

After the next section there'll be a pause while I work out the structure of the chapter that follows. I'll need to write ahead a bit to be certain I've got the shape right before I start to post it.
