She's not likely to find out about the murder for quite a while. It's going to be internally classified.

Plus, that whole death was a nod to a Shrike plotline from his Epitome series, in which alternate-reality Clancy the Omni-Competent was salvaged and brought into a covert government programme. We haven't heard what he's been up to since then and I wouldn't want to cross Shrike's plotting by colouring it in any further.
