Subj: Even now I've missed out at least three scenes I meant to cover.

Reply Subj: It would certainly take a lot of dreaming to cover it all.

> Lots of fun scenes in this one, and I certainly didn't mind the hodgepodge construction of the chapter one bit.

There really wasn't any other way to go with this, I'm afraid.

> Especially since it returned Yo to the Parodyverse! (well, sort of). That was a pleasant surprise that really caught me off guard.

Me too, but it will make more sense when the full storyline is revealed.

> I also was quite amused by Glory doing her best herding and protecting the SPUD agents. Something worse than carnivorous dinos indeed... That would have been quite the epic CGI fight sequence.

Glory's doing what she does best.

> Also nice to see some of the cast beginning to drift together, whether heading for Champagne's signal fire or gathering at the helicarrier. I really doubt that much good could come from the title of Ronnie, agent of SPUD, but then I suppose I shouldn't second guess Drury. Probably. I'm not sure what two super-spies, an 11 year old boy and a crazy person might do with a downed aircraft carrier, but I'm sure it'll be eventful.

Especially because there are other claimnants for it.

> Hallie's efforts to come to grips with the present seem like they should be fun, as is her complete lack of effort in dealing with meddlesome heroes who think with their swords. I liked the fact that none of the stunnulators would hurt Marie.

It's almost as if it was set up for some kind of tie-in, isn't it?

> Vizh, Garrick and Flapjack, eh? Ouch.

Likewise.

> Personally, I'd be happy to see Sally give heroing a try. I'm assuming you've had a talk with JJJ based on the line that she's done with the Baroness. It'll be interesting to see where she goes from here, if it's not with the Legion.

The jury's still out on Sally's future, although clearly JJJ gets the final say on whether Sally reforms. I'm trying her out to see how she writes as a character.

> Dancer's workout regimen is truly hell, I have no doubt. Poor Amber definitely doesn't get paid enough. On the plus side, it seems like we're due another Dancer story, so what could be better?

I think rereading the scene that I may have put a little too much personal experience into it.

> The Shoggoth's efforts at anime styled attacks was definitely fun. I fear for his first nosebleed as a human.

So far nobody's wondered why or how he's suddenly human.

> And Liu Xi's "grandfather" is the Void Scholar, eh? So does this mean that this story will finally identify the Celestial Madonna? I really have little concrete idea which character it will be at this point.

I think the identity of the Celestian Madonna may finally need to be revealed. I've got it narrowed down to two candidates. Both are pupils of yours.

> As I said, this collection of stories and scenes was great fun! I look forward to seeing where people take things from here...

Me too. I have this nightmare scenario of being left "holding the baby" with this massive multi-part commitment while nobody is interested. Let's hope it works out differently.
