This story was stalled for the most part until you made the suggestion to "change the POV character" so we got another appearance of the Church of the Glorious Duo which last showed up in an earlier interlude to this story. I guess they only show up during "interludes" \:\)

It's a technique that lots of authors use but I've never seen it written up in any of "advice for writers" column for some reason.

It also gets used on TV. See, for example, any Steven Moffat-written cliffhanger on Doctor Who.

Apropos of nothing, anyone interested in writing scripts for TV or movies needs to look at the online scripts for some recent Doctor Who episodes, at http://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scripts/doctor-who-series-9 courtesy of the BBC writers' workshop. They are great for understanding preferred script layouts and neccessary direction terms.

Some more storytelling and worldbuilding here, reintroducing and updating situations and cast and furthering the mystery.

This is part of the story was more of an interlude of sorts: It gets everyone to the point where they were originally going to be before the break in the story, now 3 years ago. This fact will be important.

I certainly appreciated the reminders.

Yes, I did side step doing anything with Lee Bookman. No I don't know if Lee remained in The Void wearing Chad's clothes. Yes, there is a reason why He didn't exit The Void with the rest of them.

Lee has always deserved spotlight stories of his own.

Now would likely garner you more guaranteed feedback. The board is remarkably active again for a little while, but my own contributions as a writer will be strictly time-limited, probably to the current Untold Tales trilogy. I have other paid writing work stacking up, starting with another Sherlock Holmes short story and signing off on the print edition of my novel Labours of Hercules (due, um. last November). I'll still respond to other people's postings, of course, as I have done for the last decade. My point is, things might quieten down a bit after a while, so you may want to get your work in front of an aufience while that audience is definitely assembled.
