The Hooded Hood is a real master of using every bit of resource available to him... and considering he looks at pretty much everyone in existence as just such a resource, that's fairly intimidating.

I like my archvillains to present a credible threat on several levels. The Hood is a good example.

I really liked this look into stories that almost were or might yet be, and the linking bits were quite clever. It's never good to get caught up in a Hood story... Some characters have some built in protection, but non-posting characters are just screwed no matter what they do. Clock Watcher should have just asked poor Lisette.

I really do intend to get back to that storyline someday. It'll start with a reposted and possible expanded omnibus edition of the tale so far.

Still, I'd rather that interesting young woman be saved than the no-name attendees at a fancy party. Sorry, redshirts of the Parodyverse, you have to know when to seize the spotlight if you want
    to survive.

If that interesting young woman survived it would only be a matter of time before you'd done artwork of her.

    Good stuff all around!

It was something of a placeholder and promise that I've not forgotten the PVB. In 10,000 words and a proofread of novel's time I hope to write some more Tom Black.
