The question that follows that though is what is Liu Xi's "rest point"? Who and what is she once she's traversed her arc?

I'm sure her "grandfather" is too experienced a manipulator to let her perceive things that way.

At the moment they seem to be having a time of peace and calm punctuated by dangerous and difficult missions.
