Most of the story had to do with people vanishing and the world being gradually destroyed, and there was this building fear of it getting closer, and the characters becoming more frightened about being destroyed along with the world. As it turned out at the end, the characters were in the wrong world to start with, which is why it was being destroyed. When they finally met their "end", they were sent to the proper world, and that's when they figured out what was going on, and that everything was just fine there. | |||||||
