Of all the stories I have floating out there in Comic Book Limbo, this is the one that I actually have an ending for. The overarching title have for this storyline is "The Last Great Chad & Ronnie Story" because before I started this storyline way back in 2009 I wasn't sure what I really wanted to do with Chad & Ronnie. So... I thought why not tell 1 last story with them, give them an ending & then move on to other things. Did I plan on it taking 7+ years to get to an end: no. This story told over various one off stories & short mini-series answers one of there biggest questions in the Chad & Ronnie mythos: Where did they come from?

It can be very useful creatively to bring partially-finished old work to a conclusion.

The danger is that you might end up getting dragged back into it. This year I began a project of ovarhauling some of my old writing. My first novel, p4edating even my ever comint to the PV board, was a 1.25 million words fantasy epic. I decided to see if I could salvage a decent novel out of it, or more liklely s series.

Four months later, I'm still struggling to find a good conclusion for the second of what might be a series of ten books. It's what I'll ber dspending my time on today. Eventually I'll have to try and find someone who wants to publish it, but at current rates that will be around 2020!

This story has roots all the way back to the earliest days of Chad & Ronnie. In 2003 I wrote an origin story of sorts for Chad & Ronnie. I never posted it. I think it was because it would have grounded the duo to much. This doesn't mean that I didn't keep that story in mind from then on. Elements from that story have popped up here & there. That unposted story heavily influences this current storyline.

There's an artisitc integrity to completing themes. I encourage you to press on when time and muse allow.
