“Do you ever feel like you just stop existing for random chunks of time?”

“Did you just quote a Katy Perry song?”

“NO! That’s asking about feeling like a plastic bag floating in the wind! This is more extensional.”

“Are you going to ask us if we were a tree what kind of tree it was?”

There was a short pause.

“maybe. But back to my question… about not existing.”

“sure. all the time. It’s the very nature of the narrative universe that we find ourselves. We only exist to the further the whims of The Writers That Be. If they are not at their cosmological writing desk penning our adventures we might as well not exist. Comic Book Limbo is a place for a reason.”

Another brief pause.

“I know. Sadly been there a few too many times. But what about when you don’t end up there or anywhere. What if you just don’t exist?”

“Obviously you do exist or you or wouldn’t be asking these questions.”

“I do know but what about before? I don’t even know when it is.”

“It’s mid October, young lady.”

“But what year? I only vaguely remember it being 2015, 2013. Or was it 2012?”

“It’s 2016, young lady. I’d recommend not going out gallivanting about town so much.”

This extensional crisis is happening in a luxury car making it’s way up through the British countryside.

The passengers are that of 4 Americans & an oddly stereotypical British driver. Seated in the back are the female half of the group of four. To the left was of a pale complexion. She was dressed in a pale pink blouse, a dark chocolate brown cotton skirt that went to her mid calf. Under that are a pair of nude colored nylons & a pair of sensible leather pumps on. Her mousy brown hair was styled in a partly messy bun atop her head. On her lap was a imitation designer leather handbag that was starting to show signs that the faux leather was not of the highest quality. This was heighten by the fact that the lower half of the shoulder strap was covered in duct tape.

On the right was the one having the crisis, she was now staring out the window at the various farms as the past by. She had shoulder length platinum colored hair which had then been dyed a neon blue (the platinum coloring was showing at her roots). Her hair was done up in a ponytail. She had a pair of black plastic glasses on. She also had a pale complexion but a few shades paler then the woman sitting next to her. She had a well worn, greying black hoodie that was not zipped up. Under the hoodie could see a black t-shirt that it read "Waffles United" in large white text. On her feet were navy blue Chuck Taylor All-Star high tops & argyle socks. Between her feet on the floor was a olive drag colored messenger bag. Her pants are a well worn, ripped & torn pair of blue jeans. On her wrists were a few too many bracelets & a couple of wrist bands. On her left wrist is an old calculator watch. A few of her fingers had some rings on them, On her right ring finger looked to be a silver Waffle ring. She had black nail polish which was cracked & chipped in places.

Across from them in rear facing seats were the male half of the group of four. The one who had been responding was dressed in a burgundy red knee length trench coat. Under that was a sangria red/mustard yellow striped knit sweater vest. Under the vest is a fire engine red dress shirt & his mustard yellow bow tie was tilted to the left a bit. He had a pair of high water neon yellow tweed slacks with a black plastic belt. On his feet were a dirty pair of red Chuck Taylor All-Star tennis shoes. Inside the shoes were a pair of red & yellow striped knit socks. His hair was a maroon colored messy attempt at a pompadour. He also wore a pair of glasses like the kind that would would get at movie theaters if you were going to see a 3-D movie, the lenses were absent for his pair. Sitting next to him was a man dressed in unbuttoned red & black flannel shirt with his dark grey t-shirt on, it had a bright pink Monkey shaped balloon animal. He had messy, dark brown hair & a pair of black horned rimmed glasses which were slight askew. He had a well-worn, ripped in places, pair of blue jeans on along with a pair of navy blue canvas Chuck Taylor All-Star tennis shoes & on his feet were a pair of argyle socks. He kept on looking up the car’s roof with a look of fear on his face.

On the floor between them was a yellowing beige plastic pet carrier, inside it was a hamster of an unknown origin. Most thoughts are that Little Cat is in fact American in origin.

There has been much talk of where people are from recently. But maybe it’s been much longer then that. It all goes back manny many months ago to when the the duo tone clothed man disappeared with with the man sitting next to him for awhile. This was shortly before another man came looking for him. The man in question is Clive Hudgens, a man who location is currently unknown. He was with the group when they left the Parrodipolis airport but hasn’t been seen since.

The exact nature of that flight is unknown. As far as the 4 plus 1 hamster know is they are the only surviving passengers of that flight. But then they don’t exactly remember boarding that flight just that a flight took place & was interrupted mid flight which caused them to spend a unknown period of time in Comic Book Limbo to spend sometime with the currently thought to be dead member of the Lair Legion Lee Bookman.

Comic Book Limbo spit them, without Bookman, at the airport recently. They were picked up by their driver. He had been waiting them. It’s not sure how long he had been there, he won’t speak of it.

The car is currently heading off in the direction of the Beeslyhuxtoy estate, the home of the family of the man in the duo toned outfit.

This is the most concrete evidence Jane, the woman sitting kitty corner from the man in the duo toned outfit, has ever gotten. Chad & Ronnie just showed up in her life one New Years’ Eve. If the driver’s time frame was to believed it had been 16 years since they came into her life. It had been 15 years since she attempted to look into their pasts. She had found some vague references to a Beeslyhuxtoy family living in the British countryside, a family of immense money. She brushed them off a distant relatives because Ronnie didn’t seem like the type & didn’t seem British at all.

She knew that by the end of this trip she was going to have answers even if it took years to get them.

And it has taking years to get you those answer, Jane. Not sure when the next part of this story will come out. This storyline did start in 2009 & 7 years later it’s still not finished. But there is hope, it only took about 10 months to get the next part of this story out. Last time it was over 2 years in between parts!

There has always been an end point. I even know how the story will end, it’s just getting there has been the hard part.
