Ironic that the two people who disliked Paradopolis live there now.

]I don't think either has ever been resident. The Laundry if Doom's in GMY and we've never heard about Tanner's sleeping arrangements. Hagatha now lives at Covenant House in some unspecified Arkhamesque state. Last we heard the spooky old place had become a boarding house.

Note, however, that Hagatha's daughter (by Mumphrey) also ran away from home but she went to Parodiopolis. Hagatha's granddaughter (by Xander); Whitney Darkness also fled to GMY and joined the League of Left-Outs and later the Lair Legion.

Also I caught the elemental magic bit. Wonder if that would make the De Soth family very interested in Liu Xi, she being a natural elementalist. Or even Lara Night, being a pure elemental. But I guess one being non-pure blood, and the other being an intruder from another universe, overrides that for them. Funny how being elitist and racists costs a person so much without them realizing.

]I'm sure that some of the great sorcerous houses would be interested in them. The De Soths are usually all about the pacts, but the Anankes like exotic raw materials and the Incanantrixes are all about binding entities to slavery, so there's a real market.

Back to this story though, it really shines a spotlight on two characters who haven't really been properly used in Untold Tales before.

]It's useful to finally get Tanner's origin on record, and it's a very long time since I made much use of Hagatha as a player. I toned down the focus on her back when Whitney Bland stopped being a regular poster.

FYI, part of the reason there are long gaps in my own story posts is because I'm throwing out over half of what I write because I hate it. So far, none of it is World Class, but I tried one more miniseries I didn't like 2 chapters in, and so far any Parodyverse stories I've written strike me as weak and uninspiried. I hate burning so much content, but I'd rather it be late than suck.

]It's a process every writer gets to go through. "Killing your babies" is apparently a neccessary skill.
