Honestly, given the influences I cited below, I worried this one might be too derivative.

As I told Ian, this was Dream's equivalent of the Tenth Doctor drowning the Empress of the Racnoss' children in "The Runaway Bride." As the Silver Age writers of Luthor and Doom understood, the best villain is the one who would make the most fearsome hero, and vice-versa.
