Sometimes when Liu Xi is among monsters she has to remember that she *is* one, in a way. She can warp the elements including mysterious void, spent time with a Shoggoth and an evil god (Exu), and may be the youngest Legionnaire to have killed. She has a stronger claim on evil than some demons do, so it's fortunate for everyone else that she decided to follow a different path.

You lost a chance at some instant motivation there though - if his mom would have died, and he would have been raised a child orphaned by a demon, then he'd have a definite grudge against them.
