Subj: Long. That's my lasting impression of it. Quite long.

Reply Subj: Chapter 26 isn't bad either

From the thread below:

It would have been quite possible to do at least another issue of seven chapters without even covering any of the existing cast:

        Quote:
Mircandalee Tremenselor and the Dead Galaxy Command Performance
Dead Boy and the Infernal Reorganisation
Selinda Saxmendim and the Preservation of Knowledge
        Glitch and the Monochrome Future
Tom Black and the Unrepeatable Opportunity
Cleone Swanmay and the Sorcerer's Widow
Big Thick Eddie and the Forbidden Door
        and so on.

More secret papers Bint-Zilim gathered up!

There are a million stories in the naked Parodyverse.

Well, it started out as just a reply to you and it got out of hand.

    Quote:
Thus spawned many a Parodyverse tale.

Indeed.

And back to our present correspondence:

quote]I'm quite struck by the poetry in this, and fear my reply isn't adequate prose to do justice to the story.

Doggeral is easy. I can usually do it verbally in real-time for ten minutes at a go.

    Quote:
I really enjoyed it - a stand alone quest issue of sorts.

Another subplot paid off.

    Quote:
Been a while since I read the 10th Caphan Saga. Will have to add it to the list.

Yes, I recall enjoying that one.

Hey, there wasn't even a "nothing yet" card until yesterday. So... progress!

    Quote:
We broke through Wilbur Parody's attempts to wipe it from existence. Yay us.

But who put the card there?

    Quote:
So who were all the template characters for the ones used here? Some of them I could guess, others not so:
    Uncle Tricksy - Trickshot
A young woman in odd, brief armour - Is it Troia215?
    Bint-Zilim - a thief...umm...?
Sir Jayhan de Jaboz - hatman
Another man clad in dark blue plate mail with herald’s tabs - messenger
    La Cobra - Cobra

Bint Zilim is Ziles, daughter of King Zilim.

Damn good job for the rest of this story!

So now we need a new Shaper. Hmm...could this be the ultimate aim of the Hood? He is very good at shaping things after all.

      Quote:

        Quote:
He doesn't want it. It is too limited with too many rules. It is working for the Man.

    Quote:
Well I guess he works to shape things his way anyway. So...who then?

Maybe nobody. The Offices aren't auto-resetting any more. The only way to reboot them is for all three of the Triumverate to agree, but when there's only a Duomverate...
