Oh no, you nailed what I was going for; I wanted to show how the same qualities that make Hatman the hero he is have been twisted towards evil. It makes Doorman that much more dangerous because he has the same capabilities (smarts, leadership skills, etc) as Hatman.
I'm glad to see that came across, actually.
