To clarify, HH offered to go any direction I wanted with Hallie's membership, but I didn't have a strong preference either way so we talked pros and cons. The one thing I did request was that if we didn't put her on the team, that the reason wasn't as simple as her not wanting it. I felt that if she was totally content with her lot in life, then her story would be largely at rest.

Whether she makes the line up now, in the future or never, keeping her hungry to go farther keeps her interesting to me.

Conversely, I already have Vizh as a character who is less driven, being there to react to absurd events rather than having plot lines spring directly from his motivations.
