I honestly expected Jay to be written out altogether with him taking over the role as the "spirit of Candia". Glad I was wrong. Curious to see what's going to happen to him. Unless he gets an array of trick hats to chuck at people he kind of needs his powers back.

Well, according to Space Ghost, Jay's true power should always have been turning people into hats.

The problem is, of course, in this "Power Corrupts" scenarios (ala "Civil War" and the PVB's own 1066 storyline) is that we know the heroes are by their nature incorruptible, so that we really have no moral qualms about them setting themselves up as above the law, since by the very nature of the genre the heroes are always right so trying to rein them in by bureaucracy is always wrong.

Maybe we can challenge that a bit. We'll see how the scenario unfolds.
