I wanted to be able to move Jay on without months of mouring and moping but without him being shallow and careless. This was my compromise.

I honestly expected Jay to be written out altogether with him taking over the role as the "spirit of Candia". Glad I was wrong. Curious to see what's going to happen to him. Unless he gets an array of trick hats to chuck at people he kind of needs his powers back.

It helps resolve a danging subplot and it thinks out the crowd scenes for the main act of the issue.

It was also quite entertaining, which is the most important thing.

And then, there's the big moment at the end when we learn that CSFB! is the new leader of the team, and is franchising out the Legion name faster than Subway. Its a very Dream (and Kirk, I'm guessing) thing to propose, though I do wonder what the mission statement of the LL Lemuria would be: to combat tan lines wherever they might appear? At any rate, its probably for the best that Mr. Epitome is still missing, because I don't think the idea of a fully sanctioned Legion Army would sit well with him.

I'm glad you think that the idea won't sit well with some because that's part of our narrative.

Which will be interesting, especially if someone reasonably points out the potential for disaster in the plan. The problem is, of course, in this "Power Corrupts" scenarios (ala "Civil War" and the PVB's own 1066 storyline) is that we know the heroes are by their nature incorruptible, so that we really have no moral qualms about them setting themselves up as above the law, since by the very nature of the genre the heroes are always right so trying to rein them in by bureaucracy is always wrong.

If I'm guessing right, the teaser image indicates that I'll be kosher with one of the upcoming new members to the Lair Legion (though if CSFB!'s plan goes through you'll need to make about 100 more of these before all's said and done.

There's certainly no more need to spam me about that character.
