> The contaminant is designed to stick to surfaces, so the only ways of removing it would involve a treatment with radiation or lengthy chemical baths; both of which Al will have to set up. More precisely, the contaminant has been specifically designed to cling to artificial flesh to turn the recepient into a carrier.

That brings up an interesting secondary point. Yuki's and Anna's skin can tolerate radiation and chemicals that are more extreme than human skin can take. Further, Anna can take much, much higher doses of radiation because her body carries no biological materials and she is built to military specs (i.e. radiation resistant electronics etc). That means those two would be the first decontaminated and out the door.

Of course that's iffy in one case, because the Lair Legion isn't sure they can trust Anna yet, so they might use the virus as an excuse to keep her in quarantine until last instead, simply because she won't die from the contamination so she can take it for longer, so the treatment should be given to those most in need first.

> > If not, Anna has synthetic skin instead. It might resist contamination. Of course if this is happening all over the city even she's not that mobile. But she can get a message out, since she's not quarantined. Neither is Hallie, unless she got hit with a digital variety of virus.

> The point of the operation seems to have been to pin down the Legion and Drury.

I wonder just how focused the attack was? Because there are non-Lair Legion members at the mansion that may or may not have been effected simply because they had no reason to be at the event. Liu Xi, for instance, would probably shrug it off and find something else to do.
