> > > That still means it's gone for now.  It's possible that an observant and ambitious government agent might decide now's the time to get rid of a couple of "problems" - and at the moment, Liu Xi seemingly won't have any defenses.  Chiaki probably would though.
> > There's no reason you shouldn't go that route if you've got a good story.
> I have another story blocking the way first.  And I don't really know which organization might do something like that without damaging anyone else's plans.

Why not create something, an agency we can add to the PV mix thereafter? We have secret and sinister US cabals but we don't really have a high profile international conspiracy of financiers, industrialists, and politicians, for example. Or there could always be something sponsored by Zoxxon Oil Corporation (always interested in energy sources, by the way, even organic ones), or by the Heck Fire Club.

> Generally Lara avoids violence.  At least until a small army comes to haul her away, then she might become somewhat defensive.  I'm sure they know that though, so I was speculating on whether they'd take the chance or leave it alone.

I guess the smart agency would use something like drugged tea or take her when she's sleeping.

> > > They must hate the Psychic Samurai then, since she almost never kills.  They won't be able to blackmail her or Akiko that way.
> > I think they'd probably be more wary of her for any mystic or psychic powers they might suspect she has. Of course, brains like that can have value if they're still fresh when they're re-used.
> They might have difficulty taking it.  She tends to resist that sort of thing.

That goes without saying. Thay's have to hire Marvelous Marv to take her down.
