Subj: Appropriate-magnitude gasps are always appreciated. Posted: Sat Jan 07, 2017 at 07:59:11 am EST (Viewed 3 times) | Reply Subj: Well, I gave a medium level gasp then. Posted: Sat Jan 07, 2017 at 03:59:06 am EST (Viewed 486 times)
Quote: Quote: Well, he got one spotlight story, kind of. Then the big name star came in and stole the spotlight anyway.Quote: As is their wont. I gather that the new SF movie Passengers was a solo-star vehicle for Chris Pratt - until Jennifer Lawrence indicated her availability to be in it and the entire script was rewritten. Quote: Given how much the Parody Master insulated his people from the Hooded Hood there wasn't a great range of options for the Hood to take. And this is only a couple of months before the Hood's fist fight with the PM.Quote: I still remember parts of that story very well, and whenever I hear Holst's Mars, the Bringer of War I think of the Parody Master. That's a good musical choice. I always go to Night on a Bald Mountain for the Hooded Hood. Quote: Quote: Quite right. The Apostate is back in our very next chapter - and this time it's personal!Quote: I bet he won't last till the end of the issue though. How much? Quote: Quote: Quote: And thus the other big revelation, that everything really revolves around a love story between the Nexus of Unreality and...a...Bog Thing?Quote: Well, not everything; just enough so that spiffy can be blamed.Quote: Is that really fair though? I mean, it's the Nexus who is running around with the plant creature in the first place. Sure, blame the girl. It's society's way. The male releases his spores and he's a real plant. The girl lets some onto her stamen and..." Quote: Aww my granddaughter is dead? I barely knew her. She went to the bad. But not unil she had birthed a child. See forthcoming diagram. Quote: Don't be plantist.Quote: Totally not. Remember, BogThing and Nexus (if you're reading), I started Forest Week, and brought in the Urban Druid. Totally not plantist here. Urban Druid is in the next but one part, I believe. Quote: Quote: Quote: At this point we could have done with your updated family chart? Presumably you will share it in the next pulse-pounding concluding issue? Quote: You may have to wait till the next full issue for that. There are still spoilers on it.Quote: Awww. Maybe you can grey them out? Best to let it lie in wait. Quote: Wait. Who is Kyza? (EDIT AFTER POSTING AND SEARCHING): Oh yeah, UT#354 Zod! It was only a year ago! I have the most shocking memory. Wasn't Kyza a he though (well, at least he appeared to be in that story). Kyza is a she, although she certainly wears mens combat armour (and Dirth Vortex's helmet). She has plans for when she meets her father. Her alternate-timeline male replacement (c.f. Cody/Kara) is male and unnamed; but there can be only one, probably whichever one eliminates Al B. first. Quote: The other son of Harper was someone Kinki cooked up in the vat with Al's DNA (at least - that was my initial thought - or maybe they did/do hook up again briefly at some point in the future/past). Splendid. Quote: (EDIT POST SEARCHING AND REMEMBERING KYZA): Presumably he and Kyza are one and the same - so only three kids? I guess this explains your interest earlier! Sorry i think i got it wrong (or at least wrong as it was then). but let's see what you come up with anyway because it sounds like you've sorted it out. What kind of dad forgets his own son! Shocking isn't it!Technically he hasn't had that son yet. Not for more than two centuries. Fortunately, if the Parodyverse ends in UT#360, it won't be a problem. *Goes off to read FF Annual #3 again* Quote: In any event, you're quite right, it could be any of them. No doubt you have it sorted already? Right now it's Shroedinger's inseminator. Quote: Making it Cody is more torment for him than any of the others though. He'd want to do the right thing by the kid. I think Bambi died before he even made it to the Parodyverse. Quote: To the Nexus! And beyond. Funnily enough I was reading about a theory on what would happen if you went through a black hole earlier, and am now wondering if Liu Xi and Kahn will face spaghettification on their way though? Noted. Quote: Al B. will have several questions if/when they/she ever makes it out. Noted. Quote: Ah well, i just went with one of your earlier replies in one of the threads that they were 150 years earlier than the other crew (who were noted in story as 1772 from memory). So maybe that should have been 220 years earlier?I'm suffering a severe allergic reaction to going back and checking my facts again, which is possibly a sign that I need to step away from the keyboard for a bit. Quote: Quote: If six people are out there reading this I'll be mildly surprised.Quote: Well, it's not like we're trying to promote the board and drum up new readerships. I'd be writing a very different story if I was. Quote: Quote: At that time, Sacred Island is an Indian Burial Ground, but already there is a fort and stockade over the Sound to the north.Quote: Fort York? Fort Gotham? ... Fort New Haarlem? It's a shame we haven't done more on the history of GMY. Quote: It's like that whack-a-mole game, order will never completely prevail. Noted. Quote: Are we sure they're not the same person? Have we ever seen them in the same room at the same time? Quote: Hmm suspicious.Noted. I think they were both around at Mumphrey's Christmas bash in UT#201. Quote: Nottingham? Not that far. Rhiannon is supposed to go back today, but as of 12.45pm she's not yet got up. Quote: Quote: Quote: Quote: Yikes! You really are going to try to fit EVERYONE in. Well, more people than are currently around. Pudu Lad hasn't had his moment yet. Quote: I'm on the edge of my seat with anticipation! (In truth, that's not sarcasm). You may want to pace your seat-edging. I reckon if I finish UT#359 today (with a double-sized effort) and start UT#360 tomorrow, I'll need a bit of a break before posting that last part. For starters, it's complex and I'll probably need to go back and add things in as I remember them; which isn't feasible if I've put it up in interim parts. Also, I'm a bit worried about quality of my current writing because of haste, so a breather might make the thing more readable and understandable. Finally, next week belongs to Sherlock Holmes before I get to PV stuff. So there may be a long advert break. Quote: I've read [Rhiannon] tomorrow's chapter so now she knows.Quote: Was she shocked, surprised, fooled, relieved, something else? She was mildly appalled at all the footnote links I made her look up for me. For UT#360 I will also need links to the Lair Babies incident, Baby Elephant, Rabid Wolf, the first destruction of Parodiopolis City Hall (possibly in a spiffy story), the Anti-League, the Botherhood of Evil Mutates, and the Willingham Historical Society's museum. Amongst may others.
