I meant in particular that Anna isn't affiliated with any robot rights group. That might be considered a subversive political organization, which can jeopardize citizenship.

Basically, the point is that since Anna was always victimized and never active, she was an ideal candidate for citizenship because she's seen as a law-abiding innocent. And since she appears so human and emotional, her posture in court was important too. Joan Henry might have had a much harder time of it.
