Judging from the two tie-ins already posted, I would say not very well. Publicity is actually Anna's friend in this case, as if she were to disappear after becoming famous for this ruling it would bring down unwanted attention on the government. The press would definitely investigate, which in turn would likely trigger a Congressional investigation, and that's the kind of thing that can bring even spy agencies to heel.
