It all depends if Marv can be that organized or if he'll stay focused on some larger goal like he usually does. Plus he really doesn't even know who Liu Xi is yet.

That will get him in trouble with Liu Xi too. She'd feel like he doesn't trust her enough, or believe in her enough.

That's an easy one to solve. See, Chiaki doesn't handle real estate herself, she has a lawyer who does the buying for her (that way nobody knows its her and pushes up the price to compensate). Since low-end real estate isn't Vendredi's first business, he'd probably send a subordinate of his to negotiate price too. So it would end up being a deal made between two lawyers, and the big players would never really be involved.

Chiaki would probably sweeten the deal by agreeing to pay off the delinquent taxes on the property first. Vendredi would be happy to keep the tax people away, that's what got Capone busted. The only way Chiaki might have trouble is if Vendredi has bigger plans for the property - in that case, Vinnie may end up having a run-in with his thugs, who are trying to get him to move.

It would have been done except I decided to pare off one long scene as a standalone story (because it was pretty good, but didn't really fit) and because of Marvellous Marv.
