Wow - it's been so long, I'd nearly forgotten how to add a new post. (There's a verification code? The future is now!)

How's it going? I've been insane-o busy, but I've been lurking as much as time permits. (As soon as I get a spare moment, I'm going to tackle that Moderator saga - looks cool!)

I probably won't be able to maintain too strong of a board presence, but I thought I'd say hi, and I'd love to catch up with y'all. How about this? If you reply with an anecdote or update from your recent life, I'll reply with one of my own!

Great to see everyone's still pumping out stories. If I get some time to catch up on my reading, I'll make sure to spare an extra few seconds to toss in a response.

Here's an anecdote from my life:

I was covering a local talent show when I witnessed the most perfect definition of irony ever.

While all the rest of the contestants were adults and grade school kids performing songs, there was one high school kid performing stand-up.

His entire set was ripped off from a Dane Cook routine, word for word.
