Oooh, a journalistic anecdote! Hm, I'm sure I've got one of those...

Well, Thursday afternoon, I'm scheduled to interview Michael McClure, one of the original Beatniks alongside Kerouac, Ginsberg, Waldman and the whole bunch. He was at the Human Be-In in '67. He read poetry to lions in the San Francisco Zoo. I'm very nervous.

(I talked to him briefly today, right after he woke up from a nap. Cheerful fella.)
