It did turn out to be a bit longer and more complex than I had originally envisaged.

    Doesn't it always?

I'm afraid it does.

For example: On my hard drive I have my first full-length novel. It predates even my first postings on the Parodyverse board. It is 1.25 million words long. On a redraft I divided it into five volumes.

This summer I decided to try and bring it to a fit state to show people, maybe even to eventually publish. It was a major task given that my writing style, tastes, and skill levels have developed since 1996. So I had a go at the first, 21 chapter volume.

It is now three volumes. Instead of being 200,000 words it is 380,000 words. By this token the story will run to 13 volumes ad be completed when I am 126.

She faded into nothing at the very end.

Well, just before that then.

I'll go with Fleabot for this one now.

Noted.

Still just random guesses for these.

Splendid

Well, goodbye Al B., Yuki, Ham-Boy, Visionary and Hallie. It was nice knowing you. Please save the world before you die in the past.

World-saving from the six time-travellers begins in Chapters 15 and 17 as I recall.

Wait - six? Fleabot, or the Invisible Man. Or Lisa's cat.

Lisa's cat was last seen on Apostate's face on the rim of he galaxy. Fleabot was shipped to Lemuria. The Invisible Man is in your house.
