Me too have dissociated MY Vision from this other Vision...And I hope this last gets apart from the normal Avenger drama seeing he is so alien and strange. And I also see similar Pros and Cons. I feel they are likely going to explode with real emotions soon (see the son..)

However, I still think it is a lost opportunity to recreate the Old Vision. His search for humanity hasn´t been explored recently in an engaging way..IMO Vision is a great character, worth more intimates stories . For example, I recall one small one with Whirlwind (sp?) that was really cool
But in any case, strange odd nice serie

About you having missed some Vision important story..I don´t think so...Lets hope this is the one. Just in the background
Finally I really really loved the MCU Vision. My fave in the movie. I was hoping for something like that, sigh…
BTW, I just read SW #1 serie , and in this case, Wanda sounded as her old self, even if the rest was really different (more of a police mystery drama, no Avengers, no old relatives, no mention o the Vision). I could see her again as her old self but with the normal age gap, mature and confident as ever. Definitely I am interested
In any case, great to see you all…..
And a suggestion..I think this Christmas would be nice If all the poster posted the story they are more proud of, or that it is more Christmassy…(Visionary, I am looking at you…), or hasn´t been erased from your computers and it is easy to find…Or write a Christmas new one

Kisses to all

Hey Yo! Merry Christmas to you! I will definitely have to dig around and see if I can find something appropriate to repost... It has been many years since that particular old chestnut has seen the light of day.

Yes, given a choice I would have picked a Vision series that was much more directly character driven and much less "high concept", with the Vision really just striving to make sense out of his life at this point. I see him as someone who wants to relate to humanity and yet he knows that he has such a gulf of unrelatable stuff isolating him from it... everything from his history to his job to his very body keeps him from fitting in with nearly anyone. (Which of course was one of the reasons that he and Wanda clung to each other as much as they did.)

This comic instead approaches all of that distance from humanity with him either ignoring or being largely oblivious to those differences, and thus doing a bizarre effort at playing house. Perhaps as we get an explanation for it all it will actually fit more with my own interpretations of the character... we will see.
