I think they were getting down into the $600-800 range, which is still too high for me, but I'm still sorely tempted just because I'd love to play with one and see what I could do with it as a artistic medium.

However, I do believe we'll all have 'em in 10 years time or so... They don't really seem to require super-expensive components, and so it's just a matter of getting them to the point of mass production.
