So, I was checking my e-mail the other day & I got a PV request: It's from a Michael Simpson. He asked me:

Could you please create Parodyverse versions of the characters from Strret Fighter & Mortal Kombat?

Now this would be in the realms of possibility but as I have never played any of those games & only know the general basics of the games. I have seen the movies based off of games but I don't think they are accurately portrayed those films. With this said, anything I would make is lack luster & probably not what Michael would like.

So, I put his request out to the group. If anyone wants to fill this request, I'm sure Michael would like that.

I'm afraid I'm not as up on the characters as I'd need to be to really do them justice myself. Well, that and the fact that my stories are few and far between.

I did once have a story planned where virtual character Hallie would have to face off against an ancient goddess who had found herself new worshipers by recasting herself as a video game vixen, and she was angry at our own virtual girl for horning in on her new territory. They would have had a fight across the digital landscape, into and out of a variety of famous video games all while pulling recognizable moves and power-ups on each other. There was no way Hallie wasn't going to yell "Hadouken!!!" and throw a fireball at some point, or grow some massive thigh muscles and do an upside down spinning windmill kick.

It occurs to me that an easy way to work some such parody characters into things would be to have a Street Figther/Mortal Kombat style tournament, with the best fighters in the world being summoned to participate, including some recognizable PV characters. Or someone could go the deeper story angle of that recent Mortal Kombat video making the rounds to drum up interest in a more "realistic" take on the property:

(Warning, it's more of a gruesome, horror-movie take on things, so viewer discretion is advised.)
