I saw this preview on Newsarama and thought I'd share it... It's for Paul Tobin's Marvel Adventures Super Heroes, which (despite the title and the giant "Iron Man" on the cover) is an alternate, all-ages Avengers book. It's actually the first Avengers book I have enjoyed in years. Not surprisingly, it features a line-up including the Vision (and not the teen version.) It also includes Cap, Iron Man, Thor, the Black Widow, and new additions Nova and the Invisible Woman. I haven't read every issue, but I've managed to catch a few here and there and they've been a lot of fun.

Anyway, the preview linked here shows the team tussling with Magneto and a introducing themselves and how they intend to operate to the United Nations, SHIELD, the FBI, the CIA, the NYPD and the White House.

I think CSFB! would approve of the terms they lay out and the answers they give to concerns...

The All Ages comics that are coming out these days remember that comics need to have some fun in them. So often things are grim 'n gritty these days, it's hard to tell the heroes from the villains. The All Ages books boil our superheroes down to their basic, best qualities, and they act like superheroes.

I'm actually looking forward to getting the Thor & The Warrior's Four when it comes out in digest form; it's a Thor/Power Pack series, and the cover to (I think) #2 shows one of the Power kids chasing Beta Ray Bill with a saddle in her hand. One of the most hilarious covers I've ever seen.

I actually really enjoy Superhero Squad, even though it's aimed at younger kids. They really have some fun with the different character concepts.
