I'd have to find the motivation (in the story I mean) since Liu Xi has become far too patient to hunt him down and annoy him.

He should have had Liu Xi argue with the owner of the book shop for him, she's not only good at it, but she can make repairs while she's arguing with him.

After all, he's probably got enough magical resources to make himself rich if he chose to use them that way. he could commend spirits to find him treasure, or hypnotise his landlord into getting free accomodation, or all kinds of things. He's trying to prove to himself and others that he can make it as a person without needing props.

Liu Xi would take offense to being a "prop". She would also tell him there's nothing wrong with asking help from friends, especially when they're suited to it.

At the same time, though, she would love to ask Chiaki to buy the entire building Vinnie lives and works in (Chiaki does invest in real estate), but she doesn't want to do that without being asked first.

It's not quite finished yet, but it is about 3/4 done.
