Reply Subj: We really need to insist that guests not drop by unannounced.

> On the plus side, it was good that a sizeable number of the cast managed to be out when the Brain Eaters came by for tea.

Rude of them not to lay on a buffet though.

> Lots of chills and narrow escapes this time out, along with some teases of answers. The evacuation to the Happy Place was a timely escape, and I'm glad that nothing super-mean happened to Dancer or Amber or Flapjack (although I imagine that Flapjack would have found it happier if no leotards had been waiting...) I'm concerned about the fate of Marie, but I'm relatively confident that things aren't nearly as cut and dried as Cromlyn would like to believe.

Noted.

Dancer wasn't even meant to be at the mansion in my original draft, so I had to rewrite things so she'd have some useful part to play. And as always, once she was there she stole the scene.

> Speaking of cut, I'm wondering how things work when you decapitate a Space Fandom. It seems like perhaps we'll find out next time, judging by the blurb.

We shall.

> I was a bit surprised to see Griffin add the ability to make other people and/or things intangible, but I believe I can work with that, especially in the context of this story. It's an odd team trying to save the carrier, but then that seems to be a recurring theme of this story, and a large part of what makes it so fun.

I was making the assumption that normally Griffin can take his clothes with him these days when he goes intangible. I suppose they could be made of improbable molecules. However, if you'd prefer that he can't make others intangible and invisible on a regular basis there's a good case to make that special rules apply where he is just now.

> Looking forward to finding out the answers to where we are (delivered with some really fun character interaction, I thought) and what's up with Vizh's lighthouse...

And where Vizh's stuff has gone.
