Liu Xi has one too.

> In Sage Grimpenghast's case he's powerful enough to stand up to the Shoggoth. As a demon-lord he occupies much the same niche that Mephisto does in the Marvel universe. He's extremely powerful but constrained in how he uses that power beyond his home territory.

Probably won't stop the Shoggoth from annoying him at least.

> > Another clash of point of views, by the way: Liu Xi has lost so much friends and family in her life, she would probably urge Vinnie to try to get his family to accept him or at least stay in touch. Or at least Pandemonica, who shows some potential for independent thought. Liu Xi might feel a little jealous of Monica, but she also feels that it's sad for Vinnie to completely lose touch with his past.

Probably not. Which is why Liu Xi insists he needs to find allies who are willing to side with him if they have a chance.
