Actually, I think your list is how an American might go about satirising a national team of their own, but it requires a shade too much self-aware understanding of your nation's faults to be a proper roster created by a non-American trying to catch your stereotypical culture.

Taking this from another tack, we could always expect the American superhero team to include popular American heroes: Uncle Sam, Superman, Mickey Mouse, Buffy, Fox Mulder, Elvis, and O.J. Simpson.
