Subj: Well, technically you haven't missed anything, on account of I haven't written it yet...

> As Kirk said, quite the epic! I've enjoyed this cast, and seeing their story come together and to something of a resolution was a real treat.

Oddly enough, now that the ending is down I am getting a better idea of how the middle should go. In fact Orion's comment about tavern wenches comes from one of those ideas.

> And while I respect your notice about these not being Parodyverse Characters, the obvious tie-ins do make for an easily accessible adventure.

I was a little wary of saying that.

In all honesty, I doubt that I will ever properly publish this story, even if I finish it, and the last thing I want to do is put a brake on other people in this group.

The reason I made the distinction is because I don't want to get the characters bound up in the Parodyverse settings, as that will put a kind of moral limit on what I can do with them.

> Fun stuff... I quite liked how the villains' weakness was the fact that humans and their ultimate motivations were as alien to them as they are to us.

This is actually the key to writing the Shoggoth in the PVMB. It has a huge amount of knowledge about humans - it has been watching them since they came into existance - The problem is that it simply doesn't understand.

I really have to work on this story. It is starting to get interesting.

As is always the case with my writing, please feel free to comment. I welcome both positive and negative criticism of my work, although I cannot promise to enjoy the negative.
