Actually, your scene there kind of gave me permission to write my scene here how I wanted. If we, as the readers, thought that April was in more significant peril than she actually is, I would have felt compelled to have Dream seriously angsting over her fate. As it is, because she seems to be relatively safe (until Ian or someone else throws their own twists in), as long as I still showed that Dream is ultimately concerned about April, I felt I could get away with the borderline flirty small-talk between him and Vicki here.

I was already thinking Dream and Yuki, at least, would share a scene in which they discussed their respective appendages.
