Subj: Very cool... now if only we could get a pinball machine for the Lair, we'd have everything!

> I've been spending the last week squashing bugs and adding features that were broken or missing.  This includes things like:

>
 - Icons for Sticky and Notifications swapped, because they looked better in reverse.

>
 - Nearly all text links replaced with the new icons for consistency.

>
 - Rich Text added to Profile page, for both Display Name and Signature

>
 - Subject style now more closely resembles UBB style and is sorted in order of activity.

>
 - (internal) MySQL moved to a seperate module so the software can support multiple database types.

>
 - Rare reply display bug fixed.

>
 - Font sizes made more consistent across different views.

>
 - Rare avatar display problem fixed (most notable on Profiles page).

>
 - Long-standing Display Name change bug fixed.

 - Groundwork for Private Messages and Notifications without accounts (see survey below)

>
 - Many many more bug fixes.

The new Notification retrieval system, for those who don't have accounts, will use an email and a password to store the Notification.  When you post a message and check "Notify Me Of Replies", those replies will be sent to the email in the Notification (there will also be a Watch This Thread type notification later).  To manage those without having an account, you'd have to visit the Profiles page, click Notifications, and type the email and password you used in your post.

And the new Private Message system, I'm still considering, because I'd like for all board participants, with or without accounts, to send each other private messages.  But that may open the ability for spammers to visit the board and start sending emails to all posters.  So we'll see.
